Claudell Withers

A veteran of the city school system, Principal Withers has been the principal at Tilghman Middle for 11 years. He prides himself on an independent streak and a survivor's luck and has little regard for the school system's administrators down at the headquarters on North Avenue, which he describes - as do many veteran teachers - as "the puzzle palace."
