Stephen was a finalist in the Daily Telegraph Open Mic Awards in 1998, and continued to perform on the circuit until recently, including a sell out show on the Edinburgh Fringe in 2001.
With writing and directing partner Ricky Gervais, Stephen has received widespread acclaim for THE OFFICE (BBC2). The Series and subsequent Special Episodes for BBC1 picked up numerous awards, including 3 BAFTAS, and a Golden Globe.
